Türkischer Elternverein Calw e.V., we are bringing young people together on the green fields and through shared values to counter the isolation and communication breakdowns brought about by the digital age! Our new Erasmus+ project, “Fair Play, Fair Society – Youth Building Inclusion Through Sports,” aims to build a more inclusive society using the universal language of sport.

Digital Connection, Emotional Disconnection: Why This Project?
Although young people today are more “connected” than ever, research shows that feelings of loneliness and misunderstandings in digital communication are rapidly increasing. In this era of declining empathy and messages being taken out of context, our project aims to bring the principles of “Fair Play” – honesty, respect, and team spirit – into digital and social life.

Our Project Goals:
Healthy Feedback in Digital Communication: Developing effective feedback techniques to reduce misunderstandings on online platforms.

Empathy-Focused Social Media: Organizing workshops where young people can practice their empathy skills in the digital world.

Respect for Differences: Increasing the desire to interact with individuals from different life experiences and fostering awareness of inclusivity.

Social Cohesion Through Sport: Strengthening the ability to “see things from others’ perspectives” by using sports simulations to overcome barriers.

Mobility and Participant Profile
Our project will involve a total of 42 young people, with 1 leader and 6 participants from each partner country. This process, in which young people aged 18-28, interested in sports and teamwork, and especially those with limited social and economic opportunities, will take an active role, will create a true “Play Together, Win Together” atmosphere.

Our Featured Activities:
Inclusive Sports Simulations: Experiencing the barriers faced by individuals with disabilities through games such as “Blindfolded Football” or “Silent Basketball”.

Red Card to Discrimination: Intervention and solution development using the “Freeze-Thaw” (Freeze-forum) method against situations such as sexism or aggression.

Europe Playing Together: Cultural exchange stations where each country introduces its own traditional games.

Fair Play Manifesto: A document of “Inclusion Principles” created by young people with their own voices, applicable in schools and sports clubs.

Media Studio: Producing professional digital content, videos, and podcasts to disseminate project messages.

A Signature for the Future
At the end of the project, all participants will receive an internationally valid Youthpass certificate and will prepare a 30-day action plan to disseminate this manifesto in their local communities.

We continue to work for a youth that says “Fair Play” not only on the field but also in life; a youth that can empathize and contribute to social peace!
